Tara Gates Williams is an award-winning entrepreneur, global brand expert and CEO of TGW UNIFIED, LLC. As a creative branding strategist, she specializes in working with entrepreneurs, small businesses, corporations, licensed mental health experts, school systems, and athletes. As a sought-after global speaker, Tara has been featured on various media networks to include Aljeezra, ABC, BET, CTV, Huffington Post and has spoken at various conferences and events, sharing her expertise on the art of global branding.  She was also invited to serve as a speaker on Global Branding for the inaugural 2023 Wisdom and Wealth Conference in Dubai, UAE.

She is passionate about educating and helping others build and expand their brand. Tara previously partnered with Sprint™ Business (now T-Mobile) to conduct in store Business Intensive Roundtable Sessions for entrepreneurs and business owners. The goal was two-fold; build business owners’ capacity to develop and sustain brands that increased their visibility within their target markets while garnering increased engagement for SPRINT™ Business Solutions. Through this model she increased sales by 30% over a 30-day period in two Sprint Business store locations.

BRAND INNOVATION

As a brand innovator, Tara is constantly developing new ways to elevate brands she works with to new levels. This led her to creating branding programs for collegiate and professional athletes. CASHHOUSE™ and Rookie(2)Retirement™ are programs that provide her clients with a playbook connecting brands with athletes through proven branding and marketing strategies. Tara’s innovation garnered her an invitation to attend the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) inaugural Commercialization Training Camp in partnership with The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) hosted by NASA-Goddard's Tech-Transfer Division. She was the first woman to participate and receive the program's certificate of completion. Her commitment to her own professional growth, affords her client base access to NASA’s Tech Transfer business collaboration and investment opportunities in the commercial space sector.

BACKGROUND

Tara's career spans over 15 years in the entrepreneurship, business and media communications arenas. She has over 26 years of experience in administrative and leadership positions in the field of education, in both public and non-profit sectors. She is also a retired high school principal. Her love for education keeps her connected with her county's public school system. She serves as the business liaison for the Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), where she works to garner business partnerships, student internships and provides branding and marketing strategies to increase overall awareness. She has recently began efforts to develop PGCPS's first ever CTE Sports and Entertainment Management Program for CTE students. She is an influential speaker at conferences and events throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating and empowering organizations on how to effectively brand and build their business.
